As a performer, Chris has had the honor of sharing the stage with jazz giants like Terri-Lyne Carrington, Kris Davis, Gretchen Parlato, Tim Miller, Edmar Colon, and Tim Ray. As a lover of world music, he has had the opportunity to play with Suona player Yazhi Guo and Duduk player Emmanuel Hovhannisyan. He also performs with up-and-coming Indie Rock band Joseon. He has performed at the Monterey Jazz Festival twice, SXSW, the Harvard Arts Festival, the Jazz Educator's Network Conference, and various festivals around Boston and Cambridge.

Los Angeles native Chris Lee has been writing, playing, and improvising since before he can remember. A composer of both chamber/orchestral works as well as original music in the jazz idiom, he has been developing his sound at Berklee College of Music in Boston. A film scoring major, he has been using the sum of his diverse influences to create a musical language that is unique to him.
As a composer, Chris has released an EP called "humdrum"​​
​of original music, as well as participated in composition competitions, scored short films, and worked on sound design/jingle writing for commercials.
